Koraput, 10 March 2023 (UTN). On the occassion of International Women’s Day, Mr.Dilip Mohanty, President of Koraput District Press Union and Senior Journalist, has been honoured with Peace Promoter Award at Koraput Maa Ghara Branch on behalf of Maa Ghara Foundation Trust. Journalist Mohanty has brought various issues and art culture of Koraput district to the public. The award is given to him for his outstanding contribution to journalism and humanitarian contribution.
On this occassion, a public meeting was held under the chairmanship of the founder and state president Rutuparna Mohanty, while Senior Journalist Dilip Mohanty was awarded the Honorary Award Certificate by the State President Rutuparna Mohanty. Koraput MLA Raghuram Padal, Koraput Maa Ghara President Smt. Pravati Rauta, Koraput Block Chairperson Namita Majhi, Sunabeda President Rajendra Patra, DSP Sumitra Jena, Haribandhu Bishwal, Bhaskar Behera and Manoj Kumar Acharya participated in the programme as guests and discussed the status of women in the society and their progress.The guest present at the event was seen greeting and congratulating to Senior Journalist Dilip Mohanty.
