Mumbai, 19th August 2023 (UTN). Working towards fulfilling our ambition and dream is the most important aspect of our lives. While some take time to identify what they want to pursue, there are others who know about their hearts calling quite early.
Actor Raghav Kansal, who also directed the mini web show for Instagram, ‘A Day In Our Lives’, talks about how and when he realised his love for acting. “I always have a mindset of all or nothing so while choosing a career stream for myself it was very clear what I want from my life and which field can provide me the desired results.
My family has always supported and backed my career choices, which is why it becomes a bit easier facing lows. There are a lot more bad days than good ones here, and with them having my back, I know I can survive,” he says.
In today’s time and age, societal pressure and competition are such that everyone wants to be at the top in their profession.
This leads to a lot of stress. “I agree that everyone wants to be at the top and that’s what makes life as we know it, not an easy journey. The hustle, pain and never giving up attitude makes one learn a lot of important lessons in life. The uncertainty of work stresses me the most in my profession,” he adds.
Depression and anxiety have become common ailments, or as doctors say, for a change people are slowly starting to openly talk about it. Covid has made the world realise the importance of mental well-being. Reacting, he says, “No certainly not, as now we at least know what we are dealing with in the modern age.”
The comfort and accessibility that technology has added to our fast-paced life, no one is able to slow down. Everyone wants to do more, do better than the other and earn as much money as possible, sometimes even by hook or crook. Life definitely has changed a lot.
“I think in this pacey world we all need to sit down with ourselves and be in that moment to reflect on ourselves as to what we have been doing and whether it is working out for us or not. My Goal is very clear to achieve the highest possible quality of my craft i.e. acting,” he adds.
