Mumbai, 10 May 2023 (UTN). Nivedita Basu, VP Content and Business Alliance, Atrangii TV and OTT, turned a year older recently. She says that she loves working birthdays and adds that while she and her husband are not very big on birthdays, their kids love celebrating these special days with them. “Birthdays, for me, are blessed if I am working because it can’t be a better day than that. Birthdays, for me and my husband, have never been big. Earlier, we used to cut a cake with my parents and now, with my daughters.
They are more excited so they make gifts because for them it’s all about partying now,” she says, adding, “For us, what the birthday gift is, is not counted but the gesture definitely is.”
Ask her, looking back which years have been most memorable for her, and she says, “I won’t say this looking at our birthdays but the years my daughters were born were the most memorable for me 2017 and 2021. Since their birth, birthdays have become exciting for them and me too.” Age is just a number, she says, adding, “I know people in their 20’s who get so exhausted with their work.
I feel god has been kind at my age. I feel blessed that I still have that zest to work with the Same passion.” Talking about her future career goals, she says, “I think career goals are always dynamic. They keep on changing and you keep wanting to reach newer heights and see newer things, to set an example for the kids. Now that I am the Vice president of a Channel and an OTT obviously maybe becoming a CEO or directing. Something in the near future maybe not too much but in which I am passionate about are the dreams.”
